This Strawberry Butter is sweetened with honey and fresh strawberries for a quick and easy way to elevate your breakfast or brunch! Use it on pancakes, toast, biscuits, and more!
In the bowl of a mixer, combine the softened butter and salt. Mix until light and fluffy, at least three minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary.
Add the honey and strawberries, and mix until combined.
The strawberry butter can be left out on your counter for a day, or placed in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Bring the butter back to room temperature before serving.For longer storage, the butter will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator, then bring to room temperature before using.Enjoy!
Notes
Note on honey: If you don't have honey on-hand or prefer not to use it, you can use an equal measure of powdered sugar (sifted). You could also use granulated sugar, but your butter may turn out gritty.
