I’ve broken my 15+ Christmas Breakfast Recipes into the following categories:
Sweet Rolls – my favorites! So special and universally loved, so you can’t go wrong.
Breads & Muffins – fantastic for making in advance!
Everything Else – last but not least! Scones, madeleines, and cake for breakfast!
We’ll start with my own personal favorite: sweet rolls! I just think that sweet rolls are so special and so universally loved that they just make sense for the holidays, right? Oh, and they’re super delish, too. 😀
Chocolate Caramel Sweet Rolls
These soft sweet rolls are filled with chocolate filling and homemade dulce de leche, then topped with dulce de leche cream cheese frosting swirled with chocolate ganache! The ultimate in breakfast decadence!
These Funfetti Cinnamon Rolls are soft, gooey, super cinnamony, and topped with a cream cheese glaze! They're also all dressed up for any occasion with lots of rainbow sprinkles! Note that the dough proofs in the refrigerator overnight (8-24 hours) for best flavor, so make sure to leave yourself time!
Muffins and quick breads are always a good idea for a busy Christmas morning, because you can make them in advance and have them at the ready! As for the Buttermilk Biscuits–they can be made into sooo many things! Make breakfast sandwiches, slather in jam or honey, or serve alongside a full breakfast spread!
Flaky, buttery goodness. You really can't go wrong with Buttermilk Biscuits. Have two. 🙂
Simple and delicious, these Buttermilk Chocolate Chip Muffins will make your morning! The recipe makes a fabulous base for other flavors, so check out the recipe notes for apple-cinnamon and blueberry variations!
