When planning a picnic dessert, there are a few things to consider:

  • Convenience: This is essential! When going on a picnic, you don't want to have to worry about bringing a big serving dish with you. You don't want to worry about keeping your dessert chilled. You don't want to worry about packing a knife! Each of the recipes I've included here fit the bill, and pack well for your trip to the beach or park!
  • Food Allergies and Special Diets: As with all gatherings, you may have folks at your picnic who have food allergies, are vegan, etc. Definitely ask your fellow picnic-goers if they have any restrictions on what they may eat so that you can accommodate them!
